The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and people are traversing the cities, going to school and solving crimes. It’s time to welcome Spring anime into our quarantined lives. Here’s a tidy little list of anime I will be consuming during this period of time since everything has been cancelled except anime.
Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…
I adore Otome games, Isekai and villains changing they’re pre-destined fate. I am exhilarated to see the anime adaption of this light novel, as I have been a fan ever since I stumbled onto it. We’ve got everything you need in this twisted tale, a oblivious protagonist who doesn’t realise how she’s changed the world around her and collecting capture targets like a ten year old playing Pokemon hopped up on coke and sour gummy bears in the mid 2000’s.
Arte
I’m going into this anime blind because I don’t want to spoil it for my myself, so I will just give you the basic run down. Arte was born into an aristocratic family in Florence during the 16th century Renaissance era. Being female, it was unheard of for one to become an artist. Driven by her love of art, Arte is willing to cast aside her aristocratic lifestyle to become an artist.
Fugou Keiji: Balance: Unlimited
We’ve got a rich boy who’s richer than god and partnered with another who is his foil and both are just a bag of trouble waiting to explode . We’ve all seen this before to opposing forces work together with great reluctance and then shock of shock they start to slowly get along. I find this cliche an enjoyable chocolate eclair from my favourite bakery, you know what your going to get, and it’s a delicious spongey chocolatey treat.
It’s a short list I admit, but I decided I wanted to feed the beast that resides in me on what I will truly enjoy consuming.
