20 Important Writing Lessons From All You Need Is A Little Sister

From the opening of ‘All You Need Is A Little Sister’ with it’s intense first sequence of incest I was so close to shutting down the screen in disgust but then at the pinnacle of absolute absurdity it breaks and we are treated to an editor giving feedback to the writer of said piece Itsuki and because I didn’t look at the snyopsis of the show before I clicked on (which looking back on it I really should have), I deduced that the show was all about writing so I stuck with since I made it through the normie filter at the beginning, when the ending theme played I was surprised by how much I liked it despite the sister-con freak as the main protagonist because unlike other series like this, I know he didn’t know he had a little sister and so by episode three I was hooked. As a fellow writer and I totally am I have a short story published and everything, I found myself empathising with a lot of the writers in the show and what they went through and before you knew it I was watching the finale with tears in my eyes. It was fun, it was goofy and oddly truthful in how writers go about creating works of fiction. Despite the comedic actions of the writers for understanding characters I found a lot of weird stuff that the writers did, I did myself to help write better so for all you beginner writers out there I have complied a list of 20 important writing lessons from ‘All You Need Is A Little Sister’ because despite the characters being a bit strange the writing lessons I saw from them hold true.

  1. This is wonderful… probably the most entertaining writer’s advice post I’ve read in a while. You must be a writer yourself?
I have one question: what did you mean by the make your own adventure games? I don’t have any writer friends around me, but that sounds hilarious. XD
